	John Shaw was born in 1879 in Middlesbrough but spent most of his life pre marriage to Ruth in Cradley Heath. John and Ruth married in 1909 in Solihull and they had a daughter, Lily born in 1908. Looking at Census 1911, Ruth Shaw was a visitor in Holbeck,Yorkshire with an occupation of Manageress of a Bazaar! My query is where was John? (I know that Lily, the daughter was living with John's married sister, Harriet Rothan in Cradley Heath). This is where I get confused! In Census 1911, a John Shaw born 1879 in North Ormesby, Middlesborough is apparently married to Ethel born 1885 and if correct married in 1907 in Stourbridge and they didn't have any children. John was employed as a Hotel Manager and they lived in Rowley Regis. Can anyone help solve my query, or have I created a "Red Herring" for myself?
