Frank's birth certificate gave the date and place of his parents' marriage. If you look that marriage up on Scotlandspeople you will get the names of Kenneth's parents including his mother's maiden surname. You will then be able to look for a marriage for them (hopefully his Mum won't have too common a surname).

Not sure where to start looking for Kenneth aka Christina McKenzie, as the 1891 census says he was born c1857 England, which is a bit vague...

Family search has a baptism for an Ann Kennedy, which might tally fairly well with married Ann Smith born c1838 Nigg Kincardineshire (see census 1871/1881)

Given Kenneth and Margaret Ann married in 1882, there is a son called Alfred born c1879 in the census 1891 that I posted, so born before the marriage.
