I believe on the 1911 census the surname of those 3 children is Goldsmith, presumably hers from a previous marriage. George & Annie had only been married 5 years, the last child would be theirs and the first one presumably his from previous marriage.

On the image of the 1911 the three Goldsmith children do NOT have Allsop anywhere in their names. It's a transcription error.

George has written all of the names with surname first. The transcriber was obviously an idiot.

Possible for his marriage to Annie (!911 says 5 years above), looking at the place of birth for the last 2 children on the 1911.

Probably explains why some children have Goldsmith in their names if George 's first wife was still alive at the time or Annie Goldsmith wasn't free to marry.

The birth town - Lough is I expect short for Loughborough, about 5 miles from Wymeswold where he says he is from on the 1911.

Looks as though his (first?) wife has died and he is remarried by 1911
