we don't know that she took young Harold with her. There's no age on the online death record, so he may have been a baby born in Oz and died in infancy - though as Mary says, it would be odd if she named a son of Frederick after her first husband.

You'd have to get a copy of the death cert to see how old he was.

Good Morning to you all I was pleased to read that she took Harold (son) with her . For as I read it she was a very "spunky " Lady for her time
We lived in St Albans in the 1940's/50's and somewhere I have a photo of her there so she must have come back to England for a holiday. Also I think I remember her Droving but I can't be to sure about that .

Yes, I thought that, too!

As Harold & Geraldine were in NZ in 1928, and young Harold died in Oz in 1929, that defines a small window when Geraldine went to Australia.

Its a bit strange if Geraldine and Harold separated then she named son to Frederick Page after estranged husband!!

Frederick Alfred can't be a son. To be on the ER in 1931, he must have been born 1910 at latest (assuming 21 to be voting age in Aus at that time).

Seems unlikely to be a brother either, unless always known as Alfred.

Geraldine and Frederick are together on ER's at least from 1931 onwards, first in Preston, Vic., then Heidelberg.
In 1931 there's also a Frederick Alfred Page at the same address.
By 1936, Frederick Alfred has moved out and is at a different address in Preston.

In 1954 Frederick (Geraldine's partner/husband) is listed as Frederick Alexander Page, so this will be his death:

I was looking at the Australian death that Sheila had seen for Geraldine Page in Australia. I hope this one in New Zealand is the correct one. I still can not see a marriage to a Mr. Page. Not that good at research but still enjoy it.

Dorothy couldn't have gone to Australia - she died in England in 1898 - posted above.

If Geraldine Page's parents' names were on G's death record in Australia, it doesn't mean they went there - just that they were her parents.
I think Sylvia just means the names were on an Australian record.
