I'm researching my family tree on my Fathers side.
Father was born Belfast Northern Ireland 1918 and died in England 1990 His name is SAMUEL GALWAY IRVINE
His Father was also Samuel Irvine b1874 - d1940 Samuel senior's wife was Sarah McLarnon d1941
Samuel senior's Father was named Francis Irvine, dates uncertain
Francis Irvine's Father was also Francis Irvine, dates uncertain
Records of their being must exist or were they all destroyed?

When you ask if all records were destroyed, what type of records are you referring to?
If census, then generally only the 1901 and 1911 census for Ireland have survived.

Thank you, infant Samuel was named after his Father and my Father b1918 was also named Samuel, Mother's name Sarah McLarnon, he had 2 older sisters

Samuel senior was born 1874 d1940
Francis was a weaver, ancestry uncertain but I believe his Father was also Francis.

David, I think rather than "one of those born 1874" he's most likely the one born 19 May 1874, as found on your previous enquiry in 2012 and as I've re-posted above.
I think it's quite possible that Samuel jnr's middle name of Galway is actually a corruption of Galloway - his paternal grandmother's maiden name.
Could you be a bit more specific as to what information you're looking for - over and above what has previously been found?

Thank you sincerely <3 <3
I should explain, I've searched fathers' ancestry before but not for a long time.
I've been off this site a long time for one reason and another. I've lost or given away records from previous searches while I've been away..
Are the results you have been kind enough to post available through this site or elsewhere?
