Thank you sooo very much to the three kind people that have replied so quickly. I had picked up the death and marriage, but I still really need to find his birth cert I think. |

Hi, I am new to this and trying to find info on my great grandfather Alexander Langley born in 1873/4 in West Ham. He married Selina Elizabeth Blayney in 1893 (M. cert 1c 367) and he died in Sept 1901 aged 28 (death cert vol 4a page 220, line 200). I have just ordered the death cert, but now feel that this isn't gong to help me trace his parents. I cannot locate a Birth or Baptism record for him and am wondering how I will be able to go back further without it and knowing who is parents/siblings were. |
