Hi Sylvia, I have no idea what Ann's maiden name was and none of the various census I have been given include her place of birth but I would guess it is more likely to be around Skipton, where they were settled during the period of the births of their children but the parents had moved to Bradford by 1861

Is Etherington the correct maiden name for Ann. Were they married in Bubwith. Have you any more information at all about them.

Thank you Sylvia, the 1841 census is my family but the additional info on the marriage of Thomas and Ann makes this marriage not the correct one for my couple - looks like another full stop for my Poole family.
