Member Since: January 2016 Posts: 25 Send Message	Margaret tilley had taken up with john Hamilton somtime after my gran was born 1859 I don't know if she divorced or something happened to john fraser.but my grans name was changed to Hamilton ,I thought she maybe married again around 1860 Regardes Ann thank you :-)

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 12,337 Send Message	Right, it was annoying me so I've had a look. All it says is John Fraser was a shoemaker in Glasgow and Margaret Tilley resided there so no info at all. aaaghhh!! Why couldn't they have waited a few weeks till civil registration came in??

Member Since: January 2016 Posts: 25 Send Message	I am trying to find if Margaret t ully (TILLY) had a second marriage to john Hamilton her first was to john fraser but I cant trace them because I don't know when they were born, first marriage 10 of Dec 1854in Glasgow I think cant find john fraser after 1860 wondered if my grandmother was adopted by john Hamilton . All age groups from abt 1835-1845 Regards Ann :-( :-(
