Superannuation Allowance - The resolution of the committee of visitors granting superannuation allowance of 8s 8d per week to Job Taft, 76 years of age, an outdoor labourer, who has been employed by the Asylum ever since it opening and is no longer able to work, was considered and confirmed

**The Asylum POSSIBLY Burman House (home for lunatics) in Henley In Arden

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Prickles no you are not on the wrong track with Weedon as that is 1 of his birth places and as Ag labs they would have moved around for the work.
