It really does seem too stop at Job, William could be father and there appears to be no other baptisms in that area for the right time frame. (they all seem to be Birmingham)

I had seen the Thomas Taft but got no further with it and I now have found William bc 1857 he could be 1 of 2 baptisms in the Birmingham area but I can´t find anything to say he is Job´s father although there could be plenty of other baptisms where he is the father ! . They were all ag-labs but that doesn´t help eithier :-(

Hi Sylvia I semi guessed at not known as he certainly doesn´t appear to know :-D. He´s being rather a pain in the backside to find. Taft isn´t that common a name nor is Job, It´s my guess that they didn´t baptise their children. *sighs* ;-)

Job was born about 1801 and married Hannah Knight 1827 in Lapworth, Warwickshire- For the rest of his life he lived Hampton on the Hill, Budbrooke, Warwickshire where he died in 1884.

I have 5 census for him and not once does he agree with where he was born, we have in area, (1841) Weedon, Northants (1851) Fenny Stratford, Bucks (1861) N/R (1871) (don´t know what that means) and lastly Stokeplain (no county) 1881.

I can´t find a baptism for him on FS in fact I can´t find anything about him before his marriage ...any ideas out there ??

Thanks
