Not specifically..But whilst searching for him on ancestry.hints came up on the right side panel all showing his nameon U S CITY DIRECTORIES

cane, there are over 1,000 Alfred Abbotts on the US city directories.

Alfred w Abbot is the son of Benson Abbot(1843) and Phillis Abbot ( nee hope) they were married 3rd quarter 1863 Auckland county Durham.
Alfred w abbot was born 1870 Cockfield Durham
Benson and Phillis had ten children but ive only managed to find eight

Marriage was 1864 not 1863.

The Alfred Abbot who died in Scotland in 1903 isn't your Alfred.

He was 26, died in Dundee, and was named Alfred James.

I can't see Mary Abbot after 1901 either. She was born in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire.

Suggestion for Alfred and Mary's marriage - not that it helps with what happened to them after 1901:
