	Yes, I saw that one, and also thought it a possible even probable but wonder where Caroline was and her connection with the Dyes?

	The same transcription as Spratt is on FreeReg. There are actually 2 records on FreeReg, this is the second one, with a little more information, including the fact that Caroline says Spinster ............ 	Austin ............ you may be correct I've been trying to find William either in the 1841 or after a851, to see if that helps ......... but have had no success!

	I looked at the spreadsheet for the marriage ......... and it does not say that Caroline was a Widow, and there was no other comment. so how does Robinson, which I presume Barry got from Albert's birth certificate, fit with Smith on the marriage?

	Thanks for looking Austin! I THINK that William Pratt age 15 on the 1851 Census was Caroline's child, from a previous marriage? Note that the marriage say that Samuel married Caroline Smith, but the mother's maiden name according to Barry's OP is Robinson so did Caroline Robinson marry a Mr Smith, and when?

	However- the marriage that Andy put up earlier is transcribed as Spratt on http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/ 10th June 1844 Parish Carlby Samuel Spratt father deceased Caroline Smith father deceased

	It definitely doesn't say 'Bratt' , and - looking at another capital S on the page I don't think it says 'Spratt' either. Previews iKprsev.—Uu Wednesday, the met., Mrs. Fowler's, the Crane inn. was held Ix-luro Mr. Selby. J. coroner, on view of the body Samuel Pratt, labourer, who died suddenly the field previous day. His brother, Pratt, that and deceased were working together the farm September 25, 1877 - Lincolnshire Free Press - Spalding, Lincolnshire, England the 20tli inst., at .Mrs. Fowler's, the inn, Deeping St. James, before F. T. Selby, Esq., deputy coroner, on the body of Samuel Pratt, labourer, of Deeping (late. —George Pratt deposed that he and deceased (his brother) were working together on the farm September 28, 1877 - Stamford Mercury - Stamford, Lincolnshire, England ........ 	Just to add to the confusion 'a' Samuel Pratt was a witness for the prosecution in a case of drunk-driving which was committed in Deeping St James on 16 Nov 1912. As he helped to move the vehicle, this Samuel was probably a lot younger than someone in his 90s!
