Hi safc,

Right looks like the one you found could be right as I have found a burial at St Maryss for Thomas Hornbuckle son of Jos on 3 June 1728 and on his baptism on 27 Dec 1726 it says son of Jos Hornbuckle. St Mary's Church is also on High Pavement same as the Presbyterian Chapel.

Hi safc,

Been looking on familysearch for the baptism you found but they have it down as Francis and not thomas but on freereg it has Thomas so I'm now confused as to which one is right.

The family must have kept changing their religious allegiance.

St Nicholas's Church, and St Mary's, were/are Anglican, but High Pavement Chapel and Castle Gate Meeting House were Unitarian(Protestant).

Hi Argyllgran,

Yes seems baptism's were at the Chapel but marriages and burials were at the Churches.
