Could anyone please help me? My grt grt grandfather was John Patrick O'Brien b.1812 Ireland, he m. Elizabeth McGiff b.1814 Ireland, they had 6 children: all b. in Newport, Monmouth.

Note the change of surname of the kids.
I have managed to follow up both Sarah and Thomas family, I also have the census's for Sarah from 1851, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 and for her brother Thomas from 1971, 1881 and 1891.
When Thomas m.in 1870 (to Elizabeth James) his surname was O'Brien.

Both Thomas and his parent stayed in the St Woolos area of Newport Monmouth,
Sarah m. in 1868 in Newport Monmouth (m. Wm. Curtis) on the 1881 census they were living in Cardiff.

I would like to get Sarah and Wm. Curtis m. cert, but am unsure what surname she'd have used.

Also if anyone can help find anymore info on her siblings.
