No, sorry Zoe- the article is just as I typed it, no extra information.

I just tried to read that article about Sidney and used some credits but it was showing blank? Does it say anything else?

ZoeCharles

ZoeCharles Report 14 Nov 2016 16:45

Just a quick question. My mother changed her name as she went to prison. When she came out she changed her name to 'Charles'. This was her boyfriends name. I don't know if she changed it by deed poll and am finding it difficult finding our what happened to her after my adoption. Is there anything you would suggest?

There looks to be 6 possible children (born Birmingham) from the Joyce K marriage.

You can see them by searching Freebmd:

Zoe- I think this is related :(

Note that Oundle Road, Birmingham, where the family were in 1939, comes under Kingstanding:

Birmingham Daily Post - Tuesday 12 March 1940

Sidney Charles Taylor (44) labourer, Kingstanding, Birmingham, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for an indecent assault on his daughter, a girl under fifteen.

I haven't written my letter yet so no problem at all. Wow so it does look unlikely that Kathleen M is the woman I'm looking for....

Just looking at deaths that match the birth given on the 1939 register.

Possible?

Name: Mrs Joyce Kathleen Valentine
Gender: Female
Age: 77
Birth Date: 6 Apr 1930
Death Date: 7 Jun 2007
Residence Place at Death: Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England
Postal Code District: B73

AustinQ Report 14 Nov 2016 11:16

So the Birmingham births are more likely as Kathleen's children then! But not seeing a marriage,

And, the fact that she is showing on the 1939 would indicate that she has died.

I'll pm Zoe

Well, that sets the cats among the pidgeons. Earlier, a 1930 birth for the more likely Kathleen was posted 1930 in Prescott.

Lets hope ZoeCharles reads this before she composes her letter and realises that the Wrexham Kathleen may not be the correct person

Kay????

Detective- Her latest address (and the one she is presumeably listed at on 192 in 2016) is different. and she has lived there since 2013.

Fortunately it is the same road but house number is 1

I'll pm the newer address as the postcode is slightly different.

PM should arrive shortly. Look for a purple box next to Messages at the top of the page.

The address of a probable son is also listed. As said in the PM, don't get too excited in case it all turns out to be a co-incidence.

Will PM the Wrexham address. It says she is aged 65+ and has lived there since 1983. Apparently it hasn't been sold via an estate agent since then.

The lady who died in 2011 might possibly have lived in Norwich.
