Find Ancestors

I am looking for living descendants of Benjamin ANDERSON, b 3rd Nov 1917 of Harold Anderson (b 1894) and Margaret nee Preston, and Hilda nee Jones, b 19th March 1922 of Thomas and Mary E Jones. Benjamin and Hilda were married at St Benedict's Everton on 29th June 1940. Benjamin was in the merchant navy serving on SS Flaminian, his 1940 home address being given as 53 Lance Street, Hilda's being 27 Morland Street. Possible children of this couple were/ are Brian b Dec 1941, Norman G b Mar 1943, James E b Dec 1944 and Eleanor b Mar 1947. Are there any leads out there? Benjamin would be my wife's cousin, she having been born when her dad (Harold's older brother) was 67!

I have not sent for Benjamin's death record yet. I was maxed out on buying records a few weeks ago to connect previous generations. Will have another go in January!

No obvious marriages for the Anderson children you mention.

If you don't get lead from Benjamin's death cert you could try the death cert for his wifes sister Edith Irene (Jones) Burgess.

She is married to Frederick R Burgess and is shown died in 1995 Sefton South Dist Liverpool, same date of birth as on the 1939 Listing as above.

There are several children to Burgess and Jones so again no obvious leads but maybe one is listed on death record will be cousins of the Andersons.
