Info received from somewhere indicates that this woman who is my three times great grandmother died in 1875. This makes her nearly 95, a very old age for that time. Can anyone confirm or deny her age. Thank you, Walter

In which country? If in UK which county?

Is Skilling her maiden or Married name as not seeing a death for a Margaret Skilling any time around 1875.

Although uncommon, it was not totally unknown for someone to live to that age even back then.

If she's your ancestor then evidently she was married so tell us if Skilling is her maiden or married name.

At a guess, did she marry James Enterkin?

To the searchers, Margaret Skilling married James Enterkin. The first child Robert was born 1803, the last Joseph 1825. Lived in Ayrshire or Glasgow .
Thank you all for your hard work.

What a shame we were looking for the wrong name to begin with.

Unless she remarried, there is no death of a Margaret Enterkin when you say.

Looking at Scotlands People there are 3 possible marriages for a Margaret Enterkin from 1851 to 1875.

Thomas McBride 1863 (Glasgow) Calton RD
William Welsh 1860 Glasgow Central district
James Lee 1871 Eastwood

Buying credits on SP would allow you to look at the certificates and download.
Hopefully there would be enough detail to identify if your Margaret
