	Hi Trying to find if this chap links into my Yates's of Lechlade at all. also known as Yeates Known info: 1851 Census Wife Sophia Children Henry George Charles Sarah Edward Jane would like to know who his father is have many other Yates's but cannot seem to fit him in thanks richard

	??????????? Edward's birth registration, showing mmn as Cambray YATES, EDWARD CAMBRAY GRO Reference: 1842 M Quarter in FARINGDON Volume 06 Page 190 Jane's confirms the mmn YATES, JANE CAMBRAY GRO Reference: 1844 S Quarter in FARRINGDON Volume 06 Page 172 but can't find Sarah's birth registration ....... and all the others were born before registration began

	I'm not sure if any f this helps you to determine whether Charles belongs to your Yates or not. I cannot find any record that has his father named on it ............. and so it is hard to determine whether I have found his baptism or not. It certainly wasn't in Inglesham!

	Richard FindmyPast has 2 Charles Yates baptisms-both at Winterbourne 1} 01 June 1800 s William and Elizabeth 2} 24 May 1801 s Henry and Jane looking at the names of the children it would appear more likely to be the second one but......... Sophia CAMBRAY was baptised at Kempsford 14 March 1802 d James Cambray & Elizabeth {nee Bowle}

	So could be that Edward Yates/Yeates was his father?
