Eringobragh1916 Report 26 Jan 2017 19:37

I am trying to locate a Thomas Reay b.abt. 1861 either in Wigton / Bolton Cumberland.
He was living Wallsend on Tyne with his parents Wm Reay and Jane Reay (Sixth St.) 1891 Census.
I don't have access to 1911 Census and would appreciate a look up.
Thank You

John Knox married AMY Reay( b Scotland) June quarter 1886 Tynemouth Reg....but 1891 Census shows wife of John to be an EMMA..(b England)..John's birthplace has also altered ..address and occupation remains the same as does their children's' names can someone check 1911 Census for the family .....?? I am hoping that this Emma/Amy might well be the missing IRVING Reay (female) born abt 1866 to William Reay and Jane/Janet Stewart.

Chris ....Thank you so much ..I have been chasing "Irving" for years...

The Thomas Reay I was originally asking about was listed as NOK for a Wm Stewart Muirhead who died in WW1 ..Wm was the son of Thomas Reay's sister Janet Stewart Muirhead (born and died Dornock Dumfriess).
However Wm. left everything in his will to a "Polly Knox" obviously Jennie/Jane but she was known as Polly....it is that connection I am trying to work out....so if Amy is "Irving" that's that sorted...!!! Guess I will have to buy the Marriage Cert of Amy and John Knox.
Thanks again for your help...
