All the above ARE deceased.
putting this on here so that no one else comes along and wastes their time.

Looks like the marriage was registered under two names:-

MCMILLAN WILLIAM K P BROWN 1970 628/ 518 Motherwell and Wishaw

BROWN PAMELA MARY MCMILLAN 1970 628/ 518 Motherwell and Wishaw

MCMILLAN WILLIAM K P SCHONEWILLE 1970 628/ 518 Motherwell and Wishaw

My reply to Catherine

Many thanks Catherine. Not sure I can make head nor tail of that yet but will put my best thinking head on.
Pamela was only 17 with she met Kenneth so don't think she was married before.
Just phoned my daughter..... she thinks that Pams Mum remarried so maybe that's the difference in two surnames....maybe Pam took her step fathers name??

Ordered all certs...young Kensbirth, Pam Browns birth and the marriage.
Now to work out how I can hide £36 going missing from hubby lol. only kidding i'm the boss

:-P

No problem Catherine. Better safe than sorry. :-)

Geraldine, as you know young Kenneth's parents, there may have been more value ordering his parents' marriage certificate as that will give their ages and name both parents including the mothers' maiden surnames. Pamela doesn't appear to have been born in Scotland.

Hi rootgatherer, I know it was said that the people were deceased and I'm sure that's true, but you never know so thought it best to pm instead of leaving on the post.

MrsBucketBouquet has said the people are deceased so no need to edit your post Catherine.

You would have to purchase the certificate for the details as marriages that took place less than 75 years ago cannot be viewed / downloaded using credits.

As these people may still be alive I will send details by pm

I have Ancestry subs but theres not a lot about Scotland...

I'm looking for the marriage between Kenneth McMillan and Pamela Schoneville some where in the late 1960s to early 70s.
They had a son born March 1971 Kenneth.
All the above are deceased so I cannot check with the spellings.
I know it's a big ask sorry. ....fingers crossed

Geraldine x

added.....they were in Lanarkshire
