There can't be many of that name who died in Birmingham in 1935 - the September Quarter one must surely be her ???

This query was posted on another site by the relative of Annie WARD. There are only two deaths for Annie S. WARD who died in Birmingham 1935.
One was born in 1888 the other in 1890. whoever registered Annie S . WARD death gave a wrong year of birth.
The fact Annie died in Selly Oak Hospital I think it is unlikely that she is buried in Witton Cemetery.

She appears to have been born in the USA so I can't check her birth but as her husband was killed in the war in 1917 she may well have decided to knock a few years off her age in order to attract a new husband??

Thank you Dee, I believe the person who made the original inquiry on another site has the details of her birth. Annie died in the surname of WARD so did not remarry after her husband died.
