There are two closed records on the 1939 register for Norman and Mary Hindley.

Norman's occupation is given as Quantity Surveyor. Manufacturer of Children's Cotton Garments for sale to retail shops and stores. Written in Red next to Norman's occupation (so added at a later date) is Part Time Telephonist in (Report Centre???).
Not certain about the last two words but I think it is Report Centre.
