I wonder if there is anyone who can help me ?
I am currently researching my Grandfather's family tree and I've hit a brick wall.
I can get as far as William Franks who was born in 1822 in St Thomas Exeter. All the information I have found on him has been found though census information but I am unable to pinpoint an exact birth , which would give me his parents.
This is what I know from census searches.
He was born around 1822 in St Thomas Exeter.
He married a Hannah Martin in or around 1847. ( The cenusus place William's mother as Hannah Martin but I know for a fact that Hannah is Harriet's his wife's mother)
I am pretty sure he died in 1891.
I also know he had 6 /7 children.
