Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 7 Send Message	My Nan married Ernest Gilham and they divorced in1933. In 1939 register she was living in Chelsea with George Espley who was the co-respondent in the divorce. I can not find a record of their marriage or her death. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. Thanks

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 10,619 Send Message	On the original of the 1939 Ethel has been written in initially as Espley. This has been crossed through and Gilham written in. Perhaps a slip of the pen or an assumption? Can't see a marriage.

	I am not seeing a birth or a death registered for a George Espley that fits with the info on the 1939 register.

	All London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965 (Ancestry) (1938 as Ethel Espley, with George on above, 33, Tetcott Road) George Espley 1934 Kensington and Chelsea Chelsea (90 Westbourne Street) (possible for him without Ethel) Chris :)
