If this shrink link works could you remove yours, as it totally distorts my page and makes it very difficult to read:

The link just seems to take you to a 14 day trial to ancestry

Mark

Mark Report 31 Mar 2017 22:54

It does work rootgatherer unless you do not have access to ancestry

William Leach marries on September 26th, 1839, he is of full age and a widower, and a labourer, in Woollaston, Northamptonshire.

Hannah's father is John, a miller, and she is of full age.

(For those without ancestry access)

Ahh a Miller I was reading P.. thought it read Puller but couldn't see that as an occupation.

Now to sort out the actual surname and when her father was born...

Patchem I have found this if you are able to read it - a page in the 90's relates to a John - in the militia - could be mine

Mark

Mark Report 31 Mar 2017 23:28

I am trying to confirm the parentage of Hannah .. Thank you for your help so far

patchem

patchem Report 31 Mar 2017 23:43

Militia is 1777 and he should be between 18 and 45, so born 1759 to 1732, so could be Hannah's father (or grandfather) - miller could run in the family, as could the name John.
