Please could anyone see if they can find out what happened to Eliza Donkin.

Archibald Donkin born 5th Nov 1887 Southampton, Hampshire

Eliza Jones born 1890 Southampton, Hampshire.

Archibald and Eliza married 1907 Southampton, Hampshire

I have found Archibald on the 1939 register in Nottingham but Eliza is not with him.

Archibald died in Nottingham in 1951

Their last child was born in 1916 in Southampton.

I can't find Eliza on the 1939 register.

Just to add that Archibald and Eliza had 3 children.

I have found all 3 children on the 1939 register but Eliza is not with any of them.

I think you've missed a couple of children - all born Southampton

No i don't know Eliza's actual birth date. She did not have a middle name.

Perhaps she and Archibald seperated and she lived with a Mr Ward?

Seems like she was living with someone

The death cert may give you his name or at least the informant could be family

I think to get any further with finding her in 1939 would need her DOB - there are too many Ward's around even assuming that was the name she was going by in 1939. She could have been going by another name at that time, AKA Ward was some 30 years later.
