There is loads of George H Hallam's all over the country so where was yours born and when please?

George was born in the 1800s born around Suffolk ,Don't know anymore.

The Battle of Waterloo was fought on Sunday, 18 June 1815 - is that what you meant by 'worked at'?
Alternatively, Waterloo Station in London was opened on 11 July 1848.

Thank you. I believe he worked at Waterloo Station. But I have no idea of the position he held.

This is to try and follow your trail back from your starting point.

Did he marry one of your relatives, if so, who, when & where?
As Andrew says, did he have any children? Again - if we can find records of them, we can back-track to George.

Try and read your original post as if you know nothing about him. That's the situation we are in.
