Find Ancestors

Can any kind person find a Malcolm Edwards on the Scarborough electoral register during the early 1950s. I believe he was born around 1912 but have no details for him other than these. A long shot but any help much appreciated.

Those records won't be online . Electoral records pre 2002 are held at the local main library for the area and are usually only searchable by address

Ancestry does hold some London electoral records to 1965 but that's all

You must have come to him in some way , can I ask how ??? :-)

The first 2 records below appear to be a match for the 1939 register that Shirley posted earlier, except the register states 'Edwards' and death & baptism below state 'Edmonds' I cannot access the original image to check if there is a transcription error on either the 1939 register or the baptism/GRO record although I suspect 'Edmonds' is correct

Shirley would mind checking the 1939 register please?

1939 record could be Edmonds its got a big black ink stain over it

Many thanks to you all for your help. I'd still like to pin him down to Scarborough but all information is useful. Shirley, I think he and I may have a relative in common. Unfortunately I only have a name and an approximate Birth year.
