If you need to check the mother's maiden name of children born before 1911 you can search the GRO- you have to register, but it is free:

I think you got the wrong partner for the marriage- her name was Mary Reddy:

Marriages Jun 1900 (>99%)
Boardman Albert Bolton 8c 750 <<<<<<<<<<<<
Jones Mary Jane Bolton 8c 750
Reddy Mary Bolton 8c 750 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Turner Henry Bolton 8c 750

so with maiden name Reddy for Matthew does that mean Albert Boardman was married twice Reddy and Jones

If you look at the Bolton council site that I posted (just click on the link) you will see that 1 of the 7 cemeteries in their jurisdiction is Astley Bridge

Try googling for information. This is Bolton Council.

http://www.bolton.gov.uk/website/pages/Burials.aspx

They operate 7 cemeteries - general enquiries 01204 334499

There is no-one by that name in that year found on the deceased online website - looks as though they are in the process of uploading records from the Bolton area.
