Find Ancestors

Am looking / trying to find brothers of my 2x great grandfather, William Foster.

John b 1829, Walton
James b1832, Walton
William b 1834 Walton - I am descended from William, so don't need info on him!
Edward b1837 Walton

All children of Margaret Foster b1809 and as far as I know she was a single mother!

They were born in Walton area near Carlisle, and would love to find any info on them if at all possible.

I have nothing except name, birth year and mother's name.

Anyone?

Have you found them on any census, or where did you find the names and birth years?

There is a possible on the 1841 census, for all except James but they are living Skelton which is near Penrith.

I was given this info from a family member many years ago, and so would like to check it out.

I am descended from William Foster b1834. This line I am okay with.

The other brothers have always made me curious to research their lives/existence!

Their mother Margaret apparently had 4 brothers & 3 sisters. That's another days research .........

This is the possibility for the 1841, but a bit out of area.
