The NSW/BMD shows marriage of Annie Ferguson 1935 to Reginald HENDRY at Newtown (Syd)

(Reginald Hendry b 1912 - Sydney- parents James Arthur & Christina Hendry)

You can 'Ask a Librarian' at the 'NSW State Library' (on-line) to check electoral rolls (past & present) for this couple - to trace their movements.

You can check the 'RYERSON INDEX' (on-line) which has newspaper death records -up to present day - they will do 'look-ups' from any newspaper you find of interest. You may then learn of any family names etc.

Im looking to research Ferguson siblings from 1929 onwards please as Im struggling to find the sisters from then on

Annie Ferguson b June 1907 Glasgow. Found on passenger list Oct 1929 to Sidney, Australia. Have no record if she ever came back to UK. Have a photo postcard of herself and a man who she names Reg. His surname may have been Nilsen. (Not sure if that's the correct spelling). Have tried marriage and death searches with these names but nothing found. Not sure if she had any family.

Jessie Ferguson b Oct 1908 Glasgow. Found on passenger list Aug 1929 to Sidney, Australia. She travelled with her brother William Ferguson b April 1910 Dundee. Family rumour is she married a Bill and settled back in England and had at least one daughter Margaret who may have married a William Hann in England but have no dates. We think Bill was also British and moved out to Australia at some point but met Jessie in Australia. Not sure if they married in Australia or England as I have no surname for him, although there might be a connection of the surname Brainfair from Somerset.

William joined the RAF and later married Olive and had 4 children but I have no further details on his family.

Any help or ideas of where I could be searching next would be very appreciated
