Many thanks x

Their address is shown as

2 Bk 105 Devonshire Street

and it appears to be a house with several different households in it

There are 2 closed records after Edith before the next visible name change, which has the address 3 Bk 105 Devonshire Street. <<<< Edited

It's hard to know whether the 2 closed records belong to the Brooksbanks OR whether it is another household

No Sylvia, it's actually very helpful! I was hoping Gordon might have middle initial E, even though it isn't evident on marriage record.
Thanks a million.

you're very welcome!

is he this one??

no middle initial here either!!

BROOKSBANK, GORDON mmn HOLDEN
GRO Reference: 1902 M Quarter in HUDDERSFIELD Volume 09A Page 279

but that means little, he could have been given it at baptism or acquired it.

I do have to say that the E on the 1939 was written in afterwards, in green ink

The two closed records are their 2 girls - born after their 1936 marriage.

At the same address are what looks like her parents:

Ah

I hadn't picked up on the fact that the Rodgers' could be her parents ............ I just assumed it was the usual sharing of a house!

well done Dea! xx
