The probate entry for the death in 1923 (in register 1924) is granted to his widow Flora Gray Metcalf - he lived 4 Suffolk street Jarrow, so unless they were divorced unlikely to be him?

That is my grandmother Olive Miller. she never know her father. The story is that my great grandmother was attack by a friend of the family. In later years she married William Rawe. thank you Sandy

Hi thanks everyone for your help. My granddad had no sisters only brothers. I last time i aw my mum she gave me a lot of photo. We have stared to sort them.

On the back of one is say St Mary lighthouse Whitley Bay

On the back of another it says this is uncle Dicks idea

my mum told me in a photo that is Tommy and he was mad . The thing is my mum not well .,and sometime she get things wrong.
