Hi that is the correct marriage. The witnesses were Charles Martin and Ann Gibbs.. The address given was 3Union Place Weymouth. In 1841 The White family were in Union Place.

The witnesses on the possible marriage for Henry White and Mary Bowditch were. John White and Anna White but I couldn't trace them back.

Henry is an ancestor that I keep going back to in the hope I have missed something.
Many thanks
Jo

I have Henry White as father mariner,to Mary Ann White his daughter on her marriage certificate to John Perks 4th quarter 1841 Weymouth
This is the only information that I know to be right.

I think he was in Wyke Regis in 1841 census with his wife Mary and daughter Mary Ann.

In 1851 his wife Mary was living with her daughter and son in law John Perks in Weymouth she was recorded as Wife of mariner aged 50 born Weymouth

1861 his wife Mary was still living with her daughter and son in law but recorded as widow.

There are records in Uk Naval and rating service records for a Henry White ranging from 1822--1857 could this be him?

There is a possible marriage for Henry White and Mary Bowditch 1820 Melcombe Regis.

All I know is he was recorded on his daughters marriage certificate as Henry. and his wife was Mary according to 1851/1861 census.

Any help or advice or help would be much appreciated.
