A possibility perhaps??? (as the dec quarter would fit with a Nov birth and if whoever registered the death didn't know exactly how old Hilda was)

Does her DC say widow or spinster? As there is no date to go with the month, it sounds as if the informant didn't have documented proof of her full DOB.

trying to trace parents, hilda died 23/09/2001 in Essex Colchester born 1903 not sure where or who to ones I have looked at say born 1904 any help anyone tia :-)
