Hi all I have in my tree a Artemish Maria Thomas born about 1818 c Middlesex England. I have her marriage to Daniel French in 1837 so all good there. I'm trying to find her parents, I have googled and nothing, plus looked on family search and nothing can someone please see if Ancestry has anything big thanks.

The image of the marriage can be seen on FMP

No parents names shown of course (too early), but the witnesses were James French and Ann French (in case you do not have them)

Her name does seem to be Artemish wherever I've found (marriage, censuses, etc) ....... but I'm wondering whether the original version of it was Artemisia, a daisy-type of flower.

That can be said either Ar-tem-is-ia OR Ar-tem-ish-ia

so I would look for possible entries as Artem*
