He was cremated at Wilford Hill Crematorium, Nottingham 25th August 1983. Joan applied for the cremation - s/a as per his probate record

Administration granted Manchester 20 Sep 1983. Not exceeding £40,000 I had hoped that it might name the person granted administration so we could see if it was Isa.

	she could just be alive ... age 98. Freebmd only goes up to about 1984; ancestry has bmds up to about 2006. GRO has not been releasing bmd index since about 2006 ............. so you won't find any deaths later than that. Try looking for an obituary There is a site that says deaths after 2006 to about current year .... but the information on it is taken from obituary notices in local papers, and not always correct!

I have a Isa J Firman marrying William Henry Merriman in 1946 appears to be no children Marriages Dec 1946 Firman Isa I Merriman Nottingham Merriman William H Firman Nottingham 3c 819 I have William Henry's death 20/8/1983 Nottingham but I can not find a death for Isa J Merriman. Also looked to see if she remarried but no luck there either. Perhaps she changed her Christian name? Any help gratefully appreciated
