May be relevant ??

1901 census show William Irwin aged 14yrs (step son). His occupation was a Doffer

(A doffer is someone who removes ("doffs") bobbins, pirns or spindles holding spun fiber such as cotton or wool from a spinning frame and replaces them with empty ones.)

So working in the weaving industry, so just wondering if this is him in 1911
