Hi Andy, was going through old paperwork when my Grandad Walter passed away and it appears that Hilda Mullard was the servant of my Grandad's mum who died in 1952., and Hilda was the informant on my Grandads mums death certification. I don'tr remember Hilda Mullard at all I was too young.

Thank you very much now I can work from this hopefully as I vaguely remember calling an old lady with my Grandad Auntie Polly but cannot find Polly on any records.

I don't know the name Hilda Mullard but all your information to me is much appreciated.

Some ER's are available on line. What was your Granddads name and where did he live?

A lot of Sewry's seem to live in Surrey. The Er's for the county are online up to 1962.

How can I find who was living at my Grandad's address as a housekeeper to him in the above years?

I know the housekeepers name was Polly Sewry and in 1959-1960's she was aged over 60 sorry I do not the year she was born.
