Find Ancestors

Hi,everybody.I think I am possibly "grasping at straws" but in my search for my G'G'Grandfathers parents there is,in the Bishops Transcripts, an 1809,Illegitimate birth,Jan.27,and a baptism,Aug.1 at Saint Helens Auckland,to a Margaret Liddle of Morley.She was a Single,Blind woman.Can anyone find any more information on Margaret,either prior to or after this record? Not even sure this is "my" Joseph or not,
obviously,as there are a couple of other births that are at similar time and in similar areas. 1841 gives birth place as Butterknowle.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
