A number of cases of housebreaking took place in Romford during the weekend...

(at the house of Mr. A. Hesford, ...(camera, white linen, serviettes, cigars, and other articles. Later some of the things were found at "Caithness," Mawney Road, the house of Mr. Ernest Henry Church, plumber and gas fitter, where the burglars also entered. A bicycle was taken from the house, but this was subsequently found abandoned at Grove Road, Chadwell Heath)

They certainly did ArgyllGran. Wonder where they are hiding in 1881.

Must have gone abroad again - or somehow slipped through the net . Can't see any of them anywhere.
