Find Ancestors

Looking for a marriage of Mr Bede and Miss Vella, first birth I can find of Bede and Vella is in Islington 1952 the rest born in Watford. I believe that Mr Bede was Irish and Miss Vella was Maltese. There is a Navy connection with Mr Bede, so thinking they may have married in Malta?
Any help welcome

Thanks all, I will have to contact Maltese Registry to see if there was a marriage but James Bede and Carmela in Islington in 1953 is the right family. Unfortunately I don't have any other info at the moment, hoping this info will jog a few memories.

Is it Carmen or Carmela ? I'd looked for Carmen, not that there's a James Bede marriage anyway.

If these people are deceased, please do give as much detail as possible. Its always possible that she was a widow when she married so wouldn't have used her maiden name. They may not have been free to marry, or might have encountered parental disapproval for some reason.

I really don't know anymore details, deceased or not.
Other than the names James Bede and wife Vella, she was from Malta James was from Ireland and was in the Navy.
I think I have found James birth in Carlow Ireland in 1916 on Familysearch and a death for Carmela Bede in 1993 in Elstree, which is the right family.
