Trying to find record of Thomas Weller. His son John was born in 1825 in India but I can't find any information about Thomas or his wife. My Grandmother always said they came from Cork, Ireland.
John's son William Thomas, also born in India in 1856/7, was my Gt Grandfather. He was still alive in 1910, but I have not been able to find a death record for him either.
Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for responding. I knew the information about William Thomas Weller, but not about Mary Walsh, so you did not waste your time! That has been really helpful as I always presumed it was the Wellers who came from Ireland.
It is William Thomas' grandfather that I need the information about - also called Thomas. W T's father John was born in 1825, so I am guessing Thomas was born around the turn of the century, but can't trace him at all. Maybe I need to look I n English records!

Hello again. May I please know how you know this is the right Mary Walsh? I had found one of the same name, age and father, but born in India and wasn't at all sure if it was right.
