If John William really was born in Pontefract ........................ this could be his birth registration

Is this them in 1939? Marriage in 1915 has wife as Alice Thompson.

james evans I have no dates for him, he had a son john William evans 1886-1940 b Pontefract he marr ada alice Thompson at whitwood mere, Castleford, Yorkshire 1915 .
On there marr cert he james is down as dead, john lived at 99 leeds road methley or whitwood mere alice lived at 112 methley road,methley Nr Castleford, yorkshire

Castleford comes under Pontefract
he is no relation to me a mate in the club said he could not find his g/granddad I said I would give it a go,i know some nice people that might help.
would you help me please
