He was born in Bedworth Warks. He came up to Wolverhampton Staffordshire around 1850. I assume it was for work. He became a miner. He was my Great Grandfather and I don't have photos of him or know any of his ancestors. On his marriage certs his father's name was Joseph Jacques. I don't know if he had any brothers or sisters.

Yes, All these details are correct. He was married twice firstly to Ann Parish & next to Ann Ferriday.

My Grandfather was his son Albert born 1880.

A bit off with ages here! George is listed as a bachelor and her surname Fereday - (she has signed as has one of the witnessses Emma Fereday)

I think that they have put George Jacques born in Shropshire on the 1851 census by mistake and that should have been where Thomas Parrish was born.

On the 1861 census the first child on the list is Thomas aged 8years, which is with his first wife who died in 1857.

The age of Ann Fereday on the 1861 says 20years so Thomas couldn't have been her son. Also George's age is 29years.

The Emma Fereday signing as witness on the marriage cert is Ann's sister.
