Jennett Kirkwood married Thomas Tween10/4/1863 in Chelmsford Essex. Her father was William, Ship carpenter.

I cannot find anything of her or her parents. It doesn't help that she couldn't decide where she was born.

Could she have been born 1850 and married 1863 seems a bit young

I know girls could marry at 12 and boys and14 with parental consent but it rarely happened

My got grt gran married at 15 so did her sister but that's the earliest I have come across

Would be more inclined with a c1844 birth

Does the marriage cert give an age

Is that her Death below?, as they are in Kent on Census...

The 1901 census image has been ticked through so it's difficult to read her age .think the transcriber has made a guess

Isle of. Man or Liverpool place of birth could equate as you cross to Liverpool from the Isle of Man

Ancestry picks her surname up as Scottish so comes up with mostly Scottish records

A couple of trees on there have the marriage cert and she looks to be 20ish on the cert .its blurred , her father is deceased so she wouldn't have needed his permission to marry if she was under 21

Isle of Man hold their own records which is maybe why she doesn't show before her marriage

In 1911 Thomas is living at the same address as his daughter (Ethel Margaret Burden)
