	An Ancestry" hint" re George Clack keeps coming my way and I would appreciate any additional information ! Quote George Clack / spouse Hannah and children/ 1849 Ontario (more info promised if I subscribe) I do not know if he is one of my 7 Oxfordshire ones !

	He's on th 1891 Canada census as George Clack born 1849, England but the surname has been corrected to Chick ( member submitted). It's very hard to tell which is correct on original.

	Further info shows that the 1891 census refers to George Chick rather than Clack He was from Somerset, England His Marriage George Chick Age: 31 Birth Year: abt 1848 Birth Place: England Marriage Date: 20 Mar 1879 Marriage Place: Bruce, Ontario, Canada Father: George Chick Mother: Sarah Rice Spouse: Hannah Paul Children on 1891 census were born to above couple

	Just as well that you didn't subscribe, Elizabeth, the family is definitely Chick and not Clack.
