Sylann Report 12 Sep 2017 16:05

sorry I've confused every one me included
The army record I got I think is the right William Henry But he didn't marry Dorothy the way the record had been written it looked as though Dorothy was married to Dorothy infact she had nothing to do with William she married a William Birtles which was the soldiers info under my William
So my William was born 1899/1900 father Henry mother Jane Ann 2 sisters Beatrice 1904 and Lilian 1910
on the record it had the address 28 Worsley Road Patricroft Manchester so possibly his family lived there before he joined up he was a collier
Yes I have tried looking for all 3 in 1939 nothing has shown up

If anyone can add to this it would be appreciated

I have just found an army record on FMP which I think is Mine for William Henry Bennett born 1899 Stockport Cheshire,
This record states his address as 1806 Pershore Road Cotteridge Birmingham
he was discharged 31 /3/1922. His father was Henry Bennett (which fits) living in Denton Manchester
It also says he married 15 Oct 1819 in Birmingham to a Dorothy Mabel Batsford
I've had a look for the marriage but not been able to find it ??
Think another pair of eyes are needed
