Find Ancestors

Hello, I m trying to find the link between my Gt gt. grandmother and my gt. gt. uncle. George was born in Waltham Abbey I believe and Louisa Willis Dunmow area of Essex . I just cannot find the link (possibly cousins? )

He was an attendant on the insane until he retired and then married Edith May Woods in 1908. George's father was also George and I think his mothers name was Eliza or Elizabeth.

I believe he was lodging with someone in 1861 census

This could be her, I have her father as Joseph Willis b.1806

i cannot find a birth/baptism for george or the emeley with him in 1861 or earlier census to find parents

how have you linked them together

a sort of tree on ancestry has martha dodd marrying william blakeley 1821 in felstead and then joseh willis in1828 felstead
but no supporting documents

All I know is that my grandmother was Louisa's daughter therefore my Mother's Great Grandmother was Louisa and my mother's great uncle was George Willis. Although George died before I was born I did know his wife Edith May Willis (known as May) when I was young. I cannot put them on the tree till I find where George fits the rest of the family. I have various bits of correspondence relating to George including references in my Mother's birthday book. I just don't know any more apart from a gut feeling.

Unfortunately a lot of the family information is just missing as my Mother was orphaned by age 12 and was put into a home. Her brother stayed with relatives but I don't know how much information he had. Sadly they are both dead now so I can't ask them

difficulty is essex parish registers on line are few and far between. There is a subsciption site Seax but it is quite expensive

A verdict of Suicide during temporary insanity was returned at an inquest held upon Herbert Israel Fidgeon, aged 52, of Sidney-road, Tilbury. It stated that deceased threw himself in front train on Monday evening, leaving a note containing hi name, and the words "Love to all".
