Jane Wixey born 1863 Gloucestershire

My great grandmother Jane Wixey from Gloucestershire married my great grandfather Henry Mills at Newport Monmouthshire in 1878, however her parents Thomas Wixey and Sarah Butler do not have her listed as one of their children. There is also a Jane Wixey born 1863 from the same area with mother's name Amphlett, confusing, I would like to find out who Jane's parents actually were. Perhaps she was someone elses daughter, I would like to find out, many thanks, Brian

Sorry I should have said she married James Mills in 1878.

To find out who Jane's Father was, obtain the marriage certificate.

Jane Wixey Daughter - Female 7 1864 - Gloucestershire, England

Sarah is described as a widow at this time.

It all looks confusing to me. Brian really needs to buy Jane Wixey and James Mills marriage certificate (as has already been said). She must have been born before 1864 if she married in 1878. Her birth may not have been registered as it wasn't compulsory at that time.
